Chapter ten: trespassing.
God seems to be at my side tonight for the moon is covered by thick clouds, which helps me to sneak in the garden unnoticed. Crouching on the ground, looking left and right to make sure there is no one nearby, I start crawling on the dirty sand.
A few minutes later, I reach my destination. I look at my clothes and see that they are cover with dirt. I enter the garden and look at the night sky. The moon is so pretty, so bright. Sitting at a bench near a fountain, I wait. I don’t know what am I waiting for, I just know that I have to wait.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a light appear and I squint my eyes, trying to figure what it is. As the light slowly wanes, I can see a man standing at the spot where the light was a moment ago.
“Hello there, Acacia,” he says to me with a smile. “I have been waiting for you.”
“What? How?” I stare at him curiously.
“The moon guides me here, to where you are. Now, let’s begin our conversation about your matter.” He says to me. “In order to unlock your magic fully, you will have to recall your memories from your past lives.”
I’m sorry but I don’t get what you mean,” I say. “How can by unlocking my past life memories, will I be able to unlock my memories?”
“The answer is simple,” he says to me. “You are the one who lock your own power.”
“Wait. Why am I locking my own power? That is so weird.”
“Only you know the answer. Now, Acacia, do you want to unlock your magic?” he asks me with a serious face and tone.
“Yes.”
“It’s going to be a harsh one. Do you still want to know your past life memories?” he asks me with a look that looks like pain but it must be a mistake. How can a person that I do not know of feel like that to me?
“Yes.”
“Here,” he gives me a ball sized crystal and start chanting with a language that is foreign to me. Light wrap around me and him as he chants, which surprise me. Because we are close to each other, I have a good look at him. He looks he is in the age of twenties and his look can kill women and girls, is what I can think of. Compare to Loren, Jason and Mr. Anderson, his looks is the same mark as them.
I know that we are going elsewhere but someone stops us.
“Stop at whatever you two are doing!” shout a person.
The light that cover us disappear and with frustration, the man glare at the person who stops us. That person is Mr. Anderson!
“What are you two doing in here late at night?” he say with a stern voice.
“That is none of your business,” says the man to Mr. Anderson.
“I’m afraid it is my business for the girl beside you is one of my students.”
The man whisper something which sounds like cursed words. Then he whispers to my ear, which makes me blush, “See you in your dream tonight, Acacia.”
Then he run into the woods and disappears, ignoring Mr. Anderson calls for him to stop. Mr. Anderson gives up and looks at me.
“Now young lady, what in the world are you doing here with that guy?” he ask me.
“Sir, I am sorry but I cannot tell you, please keep this a secret. Good night sir.” After I finish talking, I quickly run away without looking back and ignore the calls from Mr. Anderson.
When I finally arrive home, I notice that I still hold the crystal. I stare at the crystal for a while. Then I put it in a box and hide it in my ware robe. As I lie on my bed, I wonder about the man I met today and how shall I explain to Mr. Anderson about what happen tonight. I slowly fell asleep while thinking about what reason shall I use.
