Mixer second chapter

Chapter two: the boy

As the bell rings, signaling the end of the first lesson, I quickly walk out from the class and go for my next lesson, which is the nature of beings. The names of the lessons are very different from the ones I had in the human world. I notice that the girl who wanted to trip me is catching up with me, together with her two other friends. I quicken my pace, hide myself in the corner and pray that they won’t catch me up and that they won’t be having the same lesson with me.
God seems to hear my prayers. From my hideout I sees them disappear  into a class which is not the class I am going to have my lesson.  I feel assure that they will not be in the same class with me. I feel like a chicken but I cannot shake off the feeling that if they catch me I will be a dead meat.
Without difficulty I found the class that held the lesson nature of beings and choose a seat in front of the teacher’s table. My goal is to avoid as much attention as possible, that why I choose the front seats; kids no matter they are human or not human, they tend to avoid sitting in the front seats of the lesson.
There are only three boys and girls when I walked into the class. I didn’t give a care on what they look like and what clothes are they wearing. I just have a quick look, scanning the class then sat down on the seat I choose.
I laid my backpack near my desk and read the fresh textbook I have just received from my class teacher. For a moment the class was quiet but screams are heard, coming from outside. I usually didn’t mind it but when I am reading books, I will damn care about it.
“What in the world are the girls screaming at? Snakes? They must be kidding me if it’s snake. They can, like, zap them by using their spells.” I grumble in my mind as I shut the book I am reading and strode outside to see the situation. It was not snakes, nor any scary creatures. The culprit is the boy who is surrounding by girls.
I look intently at the boy. I can understand why the girls are screaming out their throat. Sigh, that boy is too striking. It is a bit hard to turn your gaze from him to some other place but I manage to do so. My eyes turn back to him, having the urge to see his appearance. Hair colored by means of royal color, gold. Tall, lean body and possessor of such stunning face, only one word can describe him.
Exotic!
Thankfully my parents and family members, who also possess beautiful faces; which makes me  immune towards those who possess striking, gorgeous faces.  Somehow, he seems to know that I am staring at him. He turns his gaze from the girl who is clinging so close to him like glue to my direction. I am alarm by the sudden gaze that I quickly avoid it and go back to my class.
Blue. His eyes are blue, so blue that his eyes look like ocean.
His eyes attract me.
This thought astonishes me for I never felt attracted towards a boy. I go back to my seat and read my book but the loud noise and his eyes (which I keep having flashback about it), upset my concentration. The screams soon stop and again curiosity takes over me. I look and sees that the boy is kissing a girl in front of the door.  And that girl is the girl who tries to trip me this morning. The girl stare at me and smiles. I know that smile. It means this boy belongs to me so hands off!
The girl left after she knows I received her message, but not without giving the boy another ligt kiss on his cheek. That boy gives her a light smile and walks into the class. I admit that this boy attracts me but I don’t have the feel, the feel of love. For me, love is more important than looks and wealth.
“Jason! Long time no see. You look the same as usual, how have you been?” says one of the brown hair boy in the class. So his name is Jason. It seems like he is a friend of Jason.
“Jack!” Jason gives his friend a big hug and says “ I felt bored staying at my prison home without you guys.”
“Aw…Jason that’s sweet of you but I have a girlfriend,”  Jack jokes with a big grin and receive a friendly punch from Jason.
They walks to their seats and chat some more, what they talk about I do not know for it is out of my ear shot. Soon a middle age woman came in and she introduced herself as Miss. Haven.
“Boys and girls, it is nice to meet you all. I see there is a new student here. Come up here dear and introduce yourself,” said Miss. Haven to the class and me.
I try to prevent my shyness to appear, quickly introduced myself and hasten back to my seat. My rashness makes me fall down and I kiss the ground cement.
I hold my breath and wait for the mockery and laughter.

To be continue....
