A story : Mixer

Chapter One –My Secret
I have a secret. A secret that must be keep a secret. Only those who are extremely close to me know my secret. There are only two people who I know in my life knows my secret, my mother and father. My secret is, I am not a human.
I always thought that I am a human, but such a disappointment, I am not. I am a ‘Mixer’. Not the machine called mixer. ‘Mixer’ is beings who have the blood of magical tribes flowing in their veins. ‘Magical Tribes’ are tribes who are legendary creatures. Each tribe only lives one kind; no tribes have beings with different kind.
My normal, ordinary life was shattered when I knew I am not a human. My life was ruined by the special blood I carry in my body. And what worsen the situation was I am no ordinary mixer.  I am special. I carry the blood of mermaid and fairy, the two most peaceful, mysterious, purest and kindest of all tribes.
The day of my sixteen birthdays was the day I know my parents and my true self. That day was unforgettable, for it was my sixteenth birthday and the day my whole life change. The day my ‘soul-awaken’ came and summoned my inner self, the day my whole life change.
Usually mixers experience their own ‘soul-awaken’ in the age of eighteen but I experienced them in the age of sixteen and my awakening was different from any ordinary mixer. Every mixer can only feel the call of one element, being engulfed by a light and accompany with a song sang by neither the voice of woman nor man. Some can feel the call of two elements. Only a few mixers experience the T stage of calling.
There are three kinds of mixer; o-stage of calling, t-stage of calling and s-stage of calling. O represents one, t represents two and s represents special. The song that every mixer heard was called ‘sing-full’ and the light that engulfed them was called the inner light.
And also, there’s a school that every young mixer and pure-blood must attend. Mist Wood was the name of the place where the school, “Key to Wisdom” is located.  Pure ones are beings who were born in whole; their parents are from the same tribe. They don’t usually associate with mixers; they despise mixers, that what I can tell from what I have seen on the first day in the school.
“Settle down now students,” said Mr. Brown, who teaches Magic potions. “We have a new student today, please come in miss pike.”
The whole class stops their doings and stares at me when I walked in. I tried to smile cheerfully but I know my smile is not what I want it to be. I quickly introduce myself and went to sit at the end of row three where Mr. Brown said is my seat.  I nearly tripped when a stunning girl, with blond hair and beautiful features stick her right leg out and put them in the center of the path I walk.
As I sit down, I ignore the girls who stare at me. I know what the stare means, “you are not welcome here.” I don’t want them to know what I am. I don’t want them to figure out my specialty. I don’t want them to know my unique blood, which at the same time is a curse. I don’t want them to know I like humans; they think humans are weak like ants and those they can crush them easily. But my wish cannot become true for I am their target.

Their new TOY.

To be continue...
